Google will tell you that Bramhall is a suburban town located in the county of Cheshire, in the northwest of England. It’s not. Ok, strictly, it may be classed as a town. But it’s a village, albeit a large one. It feels like a village.

Once little more than a collection of hamlets and farmland in Cheadle, Cheshire, Cheadle Hulme now sits in the furthest-west reaches of Stockport Borough.

Leafy, semi-rural and sought-after, Woodford is a small village at the north-eastern edge of Cheshire. Despite that idyllic and enviable location, it’s approximately only 11 miles south of Manchester’s magnificent city centre.
